A Dream She Dreamed. A Legacy I Brought to Life.

 

Hi my name is Amanda Lunt, owner of Cinder Creek Event Center. The story behind this venue is deeply personal.

 

My mom, Cindy Shepherd, and I shared a love for creativity, decorating, and helping people celebrate life’s special moments. After years in the cake business together, She always dreamed of creating a beautiful wedding venue where couples could enjoy the beauty of the outdoors with the comfort of an indoor option.

 

Then one day she found this property full of potential, and she lit up as she dreamed and expressed of what she seen it could become. Just a few short weeks after that meeting, my mom passed away very unexpectedly following a short battle with breast cancer.

 

She never had the chance to see her dream come to life. After losing her, I made the decision to move forward with her dream & live out her legacy in her honor. And THEN it began.

CINDER: Everlasting light and love, an ember that is always burning.

 

To me, Cinder Creek represents a dream that continues to shine, a mother’s lasting legacy, and the love that lives on through everything we create here.

 

MORE THAN A VENUE

 

Since opening our doors on June 1, 2020, we’ve continually evolved by listening to our brides and grooms and finding ways to make their experience even better.  From additional photo opportunities and cozy gathering spaces around our crackling fire pits to more than 2,000 décor pieces available for couples to use at no additional charge, we believe the little details make a big difference.

 

We’re a family-owned venue with a team that genuinely cares about you, your vision, and the details of your wedding day. You’re never just a number or another booking on our calendar.  We want you to feel welcomed, supported, and excited to celebrate—without worrying about every little detail. Your feedback matters, and we’re always looking for ways to improve and create an experience that goes above and beyond.
